Sakhalin Honeysuckle (Lonicera maximowiczii var. sachalinensis) is a versatile, rounded deciduous shrub prized for its striking ornamental features. In early summer, it produces ruby red, tubular blooms that attract pollinators, followed by ornamental red fruit that adds extended seasonal interest. Its smooth, purple-red branches provide winter appeal, while the dark green foliage turns a warm yellow in autumn. This highly adaptable shrub exhibits excellent resistance to aphids.
