Pinky Winky Prime® Hydrangea (Hydrangea pan. ‘ILVOHPPRM’ PP35334) is an improved selection of the beloved Pinky Winky, featuring bigger, fuller conical white blooms that transition to hot pink from mid-summer through fall. This striking panicle hydrangea boasts erect, bright red stems that provide excellent structural interest, while the foliage turns vibrant shades of yellow to red with a purple tinge in autumn, extending the seasonal display well beyond the bloom period.

Growth & Size

This variety exhibits an upright, vigorous, well-branched growth habit. It is a moderate to fast-growing shrub, typically reaching a mature size of about 6 – 8 feet in both height and spread.

Additional Notes

It blooms from mid-summer through fall on new wood. Hardy to Zone 3, it thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil. An outstanding choice for hedges, screens, borders, mass plantings, and cut flower gardens where bigger blooms, hot pink colour, red stems, and multi-season interest are desired.
