Latin Name: Nicotiana × sanderae ‘Saratoga’

The Nicotiana ‘Saratoga Mix’ is a compact, fragrant annual prized for its colorful, trumpet-shaped blooms and evening scent. Growing 12–18 inches (30–45 cm) tall, it’s ideal for borders, containers, and moon gardens.

This mix features 2-inch (5 cm) star-shaped flowers in vibrant shades of pink, white, lime-green, and crimson, which open in the evening to release a sweet, jasmine-like fragrance. Blooms appear early summer to frost, attracting moths and hummingbirds.

Thrives in full sun to partial shade and moist, well-draining soil. Though related to tobacco, it’s ornamental (low nicotine content). Self-cleaning and heat-tolerant, it requires minimal deadheading.

Perfect for fragrant pathways or cottage gardens, pair with petunias, alyssum, or dusty miller.
