As the season progresses, the flowers ultimately transition to rich red hues by fall, creating a dynamic, ever-changing display . This neat, compact mounding form offers all the colour of larger panicle hydrangeas in a smaller, more manageable package.

It blooms from summer through fall on new wood. Hardy to Zone 3, it thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil.
