Kinnikinnick (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi), also known as bearberry, is a hardy evergreen groundcover with trailing stems and small, leathery leaves. In spring, it produces delicate pink-white bell-shaped flowers, followed by bright red berries loved by wildlife. Drought-tolerant and low-maintenance, it thrives in poor, sandy soils, stabilizing slopes and enhancing natural landscapes.
