Overview & Description

Creme Bruleeâ„¢ Potentilla (Potentilla fruticosa ‘Bailbrule’) is an extremely hardy, compact deciduous shrub prized for being blanketed by bright, double white blooms throughout the entire summer season. The prolific, fully double flowers are beautifully highlighted by small, finely textured dark green foliage on a tidy rounded form. This low-maintenance variety requires no deadheading to keep blooming, making it an effortless choice for continuous summer colour.

Growth & Size

This variety exhibits a rounded, compact, bushy growth habit. It is a moderate-growing shrub, typically reaching a mature size of about 36 – 42 inches in height with a spread of 36 – 48 inches.

Additional Notes

It blooms continuously throughout summer. Hardy to Zone 2, it is adaptable to many soil conditions and prefers moist, well-drained soil. An outstanding choice for borders, mass plantings, foundation plantings, small gardens, and low-maintenance landscapes where double white blooms, fine dark green foliage, and no-deadheading performance are desired. Drought and deer resistant.
