The Bombshell Hydrangea (Hydrangea pan. ‘Bombshell’ PP21008) is a compact panicle hydrangea prized for its exceptionally heavy bloom production, producing more flowers than any other Hydrangea paniculata variety. From summer until frost, it is covered in masses of white blooms that create a stunning, long-lasting display. The flowers are beautifully highlighted by dark green foliage, and the plant maintains a compact, tidy growth habit with little maintenance required.

This variety exhibits a compact, rounded, bushy growth habit. It is a moderate-growing shrub, typically reaching a mature size of about 30 – 40 inches in height with a spread of 40 – 48 inches.

It blooms from summer until frost on new wood. Hardy to Zone 3, it thrives in full sun to partial shade and requires moist, well-drained soil. An outstanding choice for borders, mass plantings, foundation plantings, where prolific white blooms, compact habit, and low-maintenance performance are desired.
