There is so much versatility and choice when it comes to choosing perennials for your garden. They play a huge part in creating a colourful and interesting garden design. Knowing your growing zone, soil and drainage requirements, desired level of maintenance, water availability, sun or shade and size of space is important when deciding on which are the best perennials for you.

Anyone with a perennial passion knows that there isn’t always a plan when perusing the perennial aisle, sometimes it’s a matter of what catches your eye in the moment…then the challenge is finding it a home that works within your garden. It is also quite easy to discover that a type of perennial can become a favourite and your garden will quickly become a collection of that type, but in multiple different varieties and colours.
