The Prairie Magic® Apple (Malus domestica ‘Jefdale’) is a celebrated Canadian apple variety, hailed as one of the best-flavored hardy cultivars available. In mid-spring, its branches are adorned with showy clusters of fragrant white flowers emerging from distinctive pink buds. The medium to large fruits feature chartreuse skin with a crimson-red blush where touched by the sun, and crisp, white, juicy flesh. The flavor is succulently sweet, excellent for fresh eating, cooking, baking, and juice. The dark green, pointy leaves turn soft yellow in autumn.
