Cannas (14″)

Out of Season

Latin Name: Canna × generalis ‘Cannova’

Commonly known as Cannova™ Canna Lily, is a compact, seed-propagated hybrid prized for its dwarf, bushy habit (24–36 inches tall) and non-stop tropical blooms. Unlike traditional cannas, this series features sterile, self-cleaning flowers in vibrant shades of red, orange, yellow, or pink, paired with broad, burgundy-tinged foliage.

Perfect for containers, borders, and mass plantings, Cannova thrives in full sun (6+ hours daily) and moist, well-draining soil. It blooms continuously from spring to frost with minimal maintenance, requiring only occasional feeding and deadheading of spent stalks.

Hardy in USDA zones 8–11, it’s often grown as an annual in cooler climates. Disease-resistant (particularly to Canna Rust) and heat-tolerant, it attracts hummingbirds while deterring deer. Dwarf stature makes it ideal for small spaces.
