Latin Name: Zinnia marylandica ‘Zahara’ 

The Zinnia ‘Zahara Mix’ is a disease-resistant, medium-height annual prized for its long-lasting blooms and heat tolerance. Growing 14–18 inches (35–45 cm) tall, it’s ideal for borders, cutting gardens, and containers.

This award-winning interspecific hybrid (a cross between Z. elegans and Z. angustifolia) produces 2–2.5 inch (5–6 cm) single to semi-double flowers in bold shades of coral, yellow, white, and raspberry, with improved resistance to powdery mildew and bacterial leaf spot. Blooms appear early summer to frost without deadheading.

Thrives in full sun and well-draining soil, tolerating drought and humidity better than traditional zinnias. Self-cleaning and pollinator-friendly, attracting butterflies.
