Latin Name: Tradescantia zebrina, syn. Zebrina pendula 

The Wandering Jew Plant is a fast-growing, trailing perennial prized for its vibrant, striped foliage and easy propagation. Growing 6–12 inches (15–30 cm) tall with trails up to 6 feet (1.8 meters), it’s ideal for hanging baskets, terrariums, and ground cover.

This Mexican native features oval leaves with purple undersides and silver-green stripes on top, often with a metallic sheen. Tiny pink or purple flowers may appear sporadically.
