Latin Name: Antirrhinum majus ‘Snapshot’Â
The Snapdragon ‘Dwarf Snapshot’ is a compact, early-blooming annual prized for its charming, dragon-shaped flowers and uniform growth. Reaching just 8–10 inches (20–25 cm) tall, it’s perfect for borders, containers, and edging.
This F1 hybrid produces 1-inch (2.5 cm) double-lipped blooms in vibrant shades of pink, yellow, orange, red, and white, often with contrasting throats. Unlike taller snapdragons, it flowers early and continuously from spring to frost, with a self-branching habit that requires no pinching.
Thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-draining, fertile soil. Cool-weather tolerant, it blooms best in spring/fall but may pause in peak summer heat. Deer-resistant and pollinator-friendly.
Ideal for cottage gardens or seasonal displays, pair with pansies, alyssum, or dwarf dahlias.
