Latin Name: Lobelia erinus ‘Regatta’

The Lobelia ‘Trailing Regatta’ is a vigorous, cascading annual prized for its profuse, jewel-toned flowers and spiller habit. Growing 6–8 inches (15–20 cm) tall with trails up to 18 inches (45 cm), it’s ideal for hanging baskets, window boxes, and container edges.

This series features 1/2-inch (1 cm) blooms in vibrant blue, white, pink, or purple, often with a white eye, creating a waterfall of color from spring to frost. Its fine, green to bronze foliage adds delicate texture.

Thriving in cool weather, it prefers partial shade (tolerates morning sun) and moist, well-draining soil. Heat may cause dormancy, but it revives in cooler fall temps.

Attracts pollinators while resisting deer. Pair with white alyssum, calibrachoa, or ivy for contrast.
