Happy Face® Paradise Potentilla (Potentilla fruticosa ‘Kupinpa’ PP22732) is a compact, mounding deciduous shrub prized for being blanketed in clear pink, semi-double blooms from late spring until frost. The cheerful flowers cover the dense mound of medium green foliage, creating a long-lasting display of soft pink colour. Note that bloom colour may fade during periods of intense summer heat. This low-maintenance variety requires minimal care for continuous performance.

Growth & Size

This variety exhibits a compact, rounded, mounding growth habit. It is a moderate-growing shrub, typically reaching a mature size of about 75 to 100 cm (30-40 inches) in both height and spread.

Additional Notes

It blooms from late spring through fall (until frost). Hardy to Zone 2, it is drought tolerant once established and prefers well-drained soil. Propagation is prohibited. An outstanding choice for borders, mass plantings, foundation plantings, small gardens, and where clear pink semi-double blooms, compact form, and long-lasting performance are desired.
