The Green Mountain Boxwood (Buxus ‘Green Mountain’) is a striking, versatile evergreen shrub known for its distinctive cone-shaped, pyramidal growth habit. This hybrid combines the hardiness of Korean boxwood with the deep green foliage of English boxwood . Small, leathery, dark green leaves are dense and glossy, maintaining vibrant colour year-round with excellent winter hardiness and good resistance to bronzing . In late spring, it produces small, inconspicuous greenish-yellow flowers that are fragrant .

Growth & Size

This variety exhibits a dense, upright, pyramidal to cone-shaped growth habit . It forms a refined, architectural shrub, typically reaching a mature size of about 4 to 5 feet in height with a spread of 3 to 4 feet .
