Green Harvest Houseplant Potting Mix 20L

For all indoor planting needs.

Green Harvest Houseplant Potting Mix is a premium peat based blend, perfect for all of your favourite plants and great for starting seeds or cuttings.

Seedlings & Cuttings

Fill trays or pots with Green Harvest Houseplant Potting Mix.

Moisten before planting the cuttings or adding your seeds.

Plant seeds according to their package instructions.

Use a mister bottle to water your seeds so they won’t wash away.

Succulents & Cactus

Use Green Harvest Houseplant Potting Mix to plant or transplant your succulents and cactus.

Note: Adding some sand or pumice to the mix can help with drainage and create a denser mix.

These types of plants grow well in tight containers with good drainage. A general rule of thumb is to report every 2-4 years. Roots coming out of the bottom of the container is a good indication to repot.

When transplanting, choose a container slightly larger than existing pot and add fresh soil mix to the bottom and sides of the current root ball.

Tropicals, Ferns and Ivy

When transplanting your houseplants, choose a pot 5 or 6 cm(2″) larger than the existing pot.

In the bottom, add drainage and then Green Harvest Houseplant Potting Mix. Water lightly.

Gently place your plant in the bottom, making sure there is 2.5cm (1″) between the top of the soil and rim of the pot.

Add Green Harvest Houseplant Potting Mix around the sides of the root ball and firmly press on the soil.

Water with a transplanting solution according to the needs of your plant.
