Latin Name: Dichondra argentea ‘Silver Falls’

The Dichondra ‘Silver Falls’ is a striking, trailing perennial prized for its silvery, velvety foliage and cascading habit. Growing 2–4 inches (5–10 cm) tall with trails up to 6 feet (1.8 meters), it’s ideal for hanging baskets, containers, and ground cover.

This drought-tolerant plant features small, kidney-shaped leaves in a shimmering silver-green hue, creating a waterfall effect. Though it rarely flowers, its foliage provides year-round interest in warm climates.

Thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. Heat-resistant and low-maintenance, it’s perfect for xeriscapes or urban gardens.

Pair with purple petunias, blue lobelia, or red verbena for bold contrast.
