Latin Name: Sutera cordata ‘Snowstorm’

The Bacopa ‘Snowstorm’, commonly called Bacopa, is a prolific, trailing annual prized for its cascading habit and abundant tiny white blooms. Growing 4–6 inches (10–15 cm) tall with trails up to 24 inches (60 cm), it’s ideal for hanging baskets, containers, and window boxes.

This cultivar produces masses of ½-inch (1 cm) snow-white flowers against small, bright green leaves, blooming spring to frost with minimal care. Unlike older varieties, it’s heat-tolerant and self-cleaning, requiring no deadheading.

Thrives in full sun to partial shade and moist, well-draining soil. Drought-sensitive—keep evenly watered for best performance.

Perfect for softening container edges, pair with purple petunias, blue lobelia, or calibrachoa for contrast.

Key Features:

  • Flowers: Five-petaled, honey-scented

  • Foliage: Semi-evergreen (mild climates)

  • Uses: Spiller, pollinator-friendly

  • Hardiness: Grown as an annual in most zones
