Where is Blue Grass located?
We have 3 store locations in Alberta (Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer). Click on ‘Visit Us’ and select your local store for directions and maps.
Can I have my sod installed by Blue Grass?
Check the ‘Visit Us’ location pages for services offered from each store. Calgary location doesn’t install sod residentially, but are happy to refer you to a trusted Landscape Contractor. Calgary does install sod for large commercial projects. Red Deer and Edmonton do some residential sod installations based on size and they also install sod for commercial projects.
Can I bring my dog to your stores?
Dogs are not permitted in the store. Service dogs are always welcome.
Are all products and plants available for sale online?
Only products in the ‘Shop Online’ section are available online. If the product is available for purchase online you will be able to ‘Add to Cart’. We do have a separate catalogue to help you get inspiration and find more information on local plants.
Are all your stores products on your website?
We carry a huge selection of products at Blue Grass. Currently the majority of our products are only available in store. Our online store selection and offerings are everchanging and change seasonally.
Can I return hard goods?
Yes, within 15 days of date of purchase, accompanied by receipt. Please review our Terms and Conditions by clicking HERE.
Do you have a warranty on your live products?
Yes, most plant material comes with a warranty. Some exceptions apply. Please review our Terms and Conditions by clicking HERE.
Can I return a plant after I have purchased it?
Once a plant has left the Blue Grass property it cannot be returned. For more information on why click HERE.
Something is wrong with my plant?
Call us and we would be glad to help! Click on ‘Visit Us’ to find your local store contact information.
When will I receive my refund?
Credit or debit refunds will be received within 5-7 business days.
My address is not in the standard Shipping area?
We would be happy to help arrange delivery over the phone, just give your local store a call! Click on ‘Visit Us’ for contact information.
Why do landscape products have separate shipping costs?
Most products are delivered on separate trucks based on the products. Bulk products are shipped in various ways depending on volume and packaging. For example loose bulk products are delivered in dump trucks, whereas Handy Cubes are delivered on a flat deck trailer with a forklift. What areas do you ship to?
We service Central and Southern Alberta including Calgary and area, Edmonton and area and Red Deer and area. Call us to arrange delivery to your local area or order online. How and where are my deliveries placed at my home?
Garden Center Items such as small bags of soil, seeds, bulbs, small tools, fertilizer, etc. will be placed on your front step/porch. Trees, Shrubs, grasses and other miscellaneous plant materials will be placed on your front step/porch or as close to it as possible. If you require materials to be moved elsewhere, such as your backyard, there will be fees associated with this and you will need to reach out to the store to discuss details.
When having bulk landscaping products, sod, Handy Cubes, large caliper trees and palletized products delivered; you must leave specific drop instructions on your online order in the specified section. If you are placing an order over the phone a Blue Grass associate will ask for these details.
Can I receive sale prices before the advertised sale starts or after it ends?
Sale prices only apply to products within the advertised or posted sale dates. Blue Grass does not apply sales to products bought outside sale dates. Refunds or credits will not be given for products that go on sale after a purchase has been made.
When will my online order for pick-up be ready?
You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for pick-up with instructions on where to go.
Can I make changes after my order is placed?
Unfortunately changes cannot be made after the order is placed.
How do I check my order status?
Feel free to call your local store and we can look into your order status.
Who can pick up my order in-store?
ID will have to be provided at pick-up time. The name on the order must match the ID of the person picking up in-store.
How do I register for workshops, seminars and webinars?
All workshops, seminars and webinar registrations are booked and paid through EventBrite. Within the event description on the website you will find a link to the event on EventBrite. From here you will be able to purchase tickets. Click HERE to view events.
Why can't I purchase a ticket?
If you are not able to complete your ticket purchase please review all required fields are filled out. If you are still unable to purchase a ticket it may be sold out. Ticket availability will be noted on the event page.
What if I selected the wrong date?
If you have purchased a ticket for the wrong date please call the store for assistance.

Do you offer private classes?
We absolutely offer private classes. We are happy to host groups of 10 and over. We offer a selection of classes, but if you have an idea we can usually accommodate. Please call the store or submit an email by clicking HERE.
